Mountain High Music Festival

We’re very excited to be a sponsor for the upcoming Mountain High Music Festival. This is going to be a great event!

Here’s an article posted on BMI about the event:

BMI and BMI Icon, ACM Poet Award honoree and world renowned singer-songwriter, Dean Dillon, have partnered with LMG, SunTrust Bank, Texas Roadhouse, HD Radio, Bedell Guitars and more to present the Mountain High Music Festival, January 13 to 17, 2016, in majestic Crested Butte, Colorado. The festival will present a diverse lineup of some of the world’s best recording artists and songwriters, along with country music’s future hitmakers, for an eclectic mix of “music with an altitude.”

The brainchild of Dillon, who helped skyrocket the King of Country Music, George Strait, into stardom with his lyrics and melodies, the Mountain High Music Festival will offer patrons a unique opportunity to experience the music of some of the industry’s finest singers and songwriters in an intimate venue. Performances will be presented in various locations around the beautiful town of Crested Butte, CO, voted the #1 Ski Town for 2014 in North America by Powder Magazine’s “Ski Town Throwdown.”

Hosted by GAC and SiriusXM’s on-air personality Storme Warren, artists and songwriters will swap stories and mingle in a series of full-band, casual and cozy performances set against the breathtaking backdrop of Crested Butte. The exciting lineup includes performances from iconic Southern rock group Marshall Tucker Band, #1 hit writer Wendell Mobley, award-winning country songwriter Kendell Marvel, songwriters’ advocate and country music writer Lee Thomas Miller, as well as up-and-coming country/hip-hop artist Julia Cole, Colorado-based singer Evelyn Roper, and the legendary Dean Dillon and the Texas Jamm Band. Other performers include Mark Powell & Lariat, Heather Morgan and Randy Montana.

As part of Mountain High Music Festival’s commitment to the community, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Adaptive Sports Center and to Tough Enough to Wear Pink. The Adaptive Sports Center is an organization providing high-quality adventure activities for individuals with disabilities in and around Crested Butte. Now in its 28th year of operation, the Adaptive Sports Center provides programs to more than 700 people each year, with visitors from the Walter Reed National Military Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, Kennedy Krieger Institute and D.C. Firefighter Burn Foundation. More information about the center can be found at www.adaptivesports.org.

Proceeds will also support Tough Enough to Wear Pink, a nationally-recognized program for rodeos and other Western events to promote breast cancer awareness and fundraising. Complete details about the work of the organization can be found at www.gunnisontetwp.com. Other festival sponsors include Black Diamond Publishing, Coors, the Town of Mt. Crested Butte and Crested Butte, CBMR and Elevation. Tickets to the event can be purchased atwww.mountainhighmusicfest.com.
